Hilary Duff Talks About Avril Lavigne in May 2008 Allure Magazine

Hilary Duff is on the cover of next month’s Allure magazine and she had some things to say about fellow young celebs Lindsay Lohan (of course), Miley Cyrus (aka Hannah Montana), and Avril Lavigne! Hil kinda dissed Avril a while back, saying she should appreciate her fans and then Avril had publicly shot back at Hil, calling her a “mommy’s girl.” Here’s what Ms. Duff has to say about the whole thing now:
“I said something about how she didn’t like her fans dressing like her, and how she should appreciate that because it’s a compliment. She called me a goody-goody [Lavigne called Duff a ‘mommy’s girl’ in Newsweek] Everyone is trying to prove who they are, and their position. So, I’m ‘the good girl.’ She’s ‘the bad girl’ or ‘the party girl.’ Sarah Jessica Parker doesn’t take her clothes off, but she’s not a ‘good girl.’ [Adult actors] don’t get tagged like we do.”
Girls, it’s ancient history. Let’s try to get along in this crazy world where you’re the only two celebrities left who don’t seem to be gettin’ knocked up!

this is stupid!! its like in an interview someone asks hilary about what avril said, and then in another interview someone asks avril about what hil said, and so they made a fight that never exists!!! Fuck those stupid fight maker people!! :P

The little spats fuel mag sales, but the gals should just ignore stupid questions like that. If they refuse to comment, it becomes a nonissue.

sadly, even when these girls don’t talk answer these questions, than it’ll be a case of “what do you have to hide? what are your running away from?”

i think ppl should stop hating on avril just bcuz she actually speaks her own opinions -n- doesnt like some other artist. i mean u cant just like everybody! -n- just bcuz shes different from other celebrities doesnt shes weird it just means she likes 2 b herself so GO AVRIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think they are both very chill. & i think everyone should go gets lives.
avril is better. we all know its true.
